There are many claims made about the acai berry, some claim it prevents cancer, others claim that this helps people to lose weight. So I came across this well written blog post by Jennifer Baden on the facts surrounding the acai berry.
In terms of weight loss I would just add that people have experienced it as an appetite suppressant, rather than blocking anything that is consumed by the body. Sorry it is not the case that you can eat all those burgers from your favourite fast food joint, take some MonaVie and be immune to the calories. It just don't work that way...
