So how much fruit and vegetables did you have yesterday? How about the day before? And be honest... Well the majority of us do not consume the recommended five portions a day. Did you know in some countries they actually recommend seven?
Well a study has come out with an estimate of 33,000 lives each year that would be saved if people actually ate their fruit and vegetables. What is not covered here is the improved health and wellness of the others not in the above statistic. In Victorian times people would eact mounds of fruit and vegetables in order to meet their higher calorific needs of doing more physical jobs.
Professor Peter Scarborough, from Oxford University, who led the research, said: "Meeting dietary recommendations would have a massive effect on the health of the nation.
"According to our model, the biggest impact would be eating more fruit and veg. But this doesn't mean you should just stop at five - the more the better."
One of the challenges we face when trying to consume fruit and vegetables is that modern life just gets in the way. By the time you get home the idea of preparing a wholesome meal is really too much when you also have to consider helping the kids with their homework, putting them to bed, and all the other things that simply don't get done!

As a juice it's simple to consume, surprisingly low in sugar and provides you with the equivalent of approximately 13 commone fruit and vegetables. With it being a synergystic blend of 19 fruits it certainly adds that missing balance to your diet where you don't get the chance to eat that salad when you get home...
