Brian Tracy GoalsBackground

In the article entitled "Why Set Goals" we discussed the importance of establishing clearly defined goals, and how breaking down long term goals into manageable short and medium term goals is essential if you are going to achieve them. The process of deciding what is important to you, how to set your goals, and how to achieve them would fill entire book - yes that's right your catching on - this one.

Why Buy This Book?

This book will take you through a process to give you direction in life, the importance being that once you read the material, answer the questions and follow the exercises you will have a far better understanding what YOUR direction should be. This is different for everyone, though Brian naturally focuses on generating lots of money. There are many books on goal setting out there, typically in the self-help area (that scary area frequented by crazies in the book shop), though this is the best I have read and is the easiest to follow.

The tools and techniques that Brian gives you will stand you in good stead to achieve whatever you wish to, indeed I carry my 5x3 cards and pen wherever I go. This simple act of reviewing and focusing the tasks that need to be done to achieve your goal and how that underpins your overarching goal (which Brian calls your major definite purpose) is awesome.

Which Version?

There is an audio book equivalent, and whilst I am a big fan of Brian Tracy and some of his work, really this stuff is more powerful going at your pace and hearing it with your own inner voice. For this reason it simply has to be the paperback book - click the image which will take you to Amazon in the UK and purchase it now. The results will surprise you greatly, and I have personally bought a number of friends going through turmoil.
