Background
The Business Startup exhibition has just finished, a whole month of planning culminating in two very busy but successful days.
The stand looked simple yet very professional, and the droves of people walking past meant that none of us had a break from talking for more than a minute or two from the start to the finish of the show.

The Busiest Stand
One person asked me why our stand was the busiest of them all, to be honest I had no idea as did not get the break to walk around the show! We also had other exhibitors coming over to see us having heard that we had a fantastic pick me up juice they simply had to try.
There were a number of other network marketing organisations exhibiting, yet none of them were even half as busy as us. Perhaps the main reason for this is that we let people sample the products and having tried them the majority wanted to find out more.
The people
We met some wonderful people with some amazing life stories including the life coach who somehow ended up on a BBC radio show alongside Robbie Williams. Many people were looking for something different, something with real substance and benefit to people, and left loving the concept and the compensation plan but not quite believing that something so good could be true.
Of course we also met some other curious individuals, some of who we had to politely ask to leave the stand. Thankfully this was a small minority of the people we met; the majority were genuinely interested in the product and the opportunity.
The seminar presentation
Peri delivered a presentation about why the network marketing business model is superior to the Be The Boss seminar hall. This was generally well received and caused a tidal wave of people that the seven of us simply could not cope with to the stand.
Many people who were attending the show were looking at starting their own business and been to see various organisations for advice. This presentation was an eye opener for them, showing how the odds were stacked against them in the traditional business model using a real life story.
We hope to put a copy of this up on our website shortly.
So would we do it again?
One of the show’s organisers asked whether we would consider doing it again, the answer was clearly yes – what a wonderful way of bringing this fantastic product and amazing opportunity to a large number of budding entrepreneurs.
The forms were completed, and we will be at Earl Court in November 2010. But don’t wait until then to become part of the Star Builder team, join us now and you too could be with us talking about your experiences.
